Stone cross, erected for diverse motives, has an important power and, just like legends say,  if someone stays under them can not be forced to be a member of “Santa Compaña ", the mysterious soul procession that wander during Galician nigths.  Whatever the validity of legends, stone cross are one of the religious elements more typical of this Community.

The most old-timer stone cross of municipality dates of 1675 but, nowadays, stone cross are also a identity symbol of our land.
