Sculpture in stone thought the artist use to develop his work in wood.
This work has two parts. The typical pedestal supports the figure and it became in only one element. It can be interpreted as a figure rested on the base, as if the figure was going out of the block, or even, as if a part of the anatomy was becoming in a geometric form.
The underside takes advantage of the irregular geometry of the stone cracks, reminding the testament of the German sculptor Ulrick Rúckriem. The top also has influences of the German expressionism, adding a double profile, typical of cubism, to represent an androgynous figure with a lofty and meditative position.
Partial polychrome in hair and eyes which highlights the stone texture of the base and the finished of the body.
Finally the union between both pieces is realized in cement and it appears meaningfully like glue and also as another material in itself.
