Lalín is land of artists and Art lovers. It is obvious in its streets. A good way of crossing Lalin village is discovering its sculptures. Some of them have turned into symbols of the municipality, as the dedicated one to Loriga, the aviator, or the statue of the pork.
Some of them monumental, different and discreet another ones...figuratives or abstracts, all of them have a history behind...make up your mind and come to discover it!
Composition formed by four big silhouettes finished in a semi spherical base and which artist shows us like immobile disturbing teeter-totters.
Four isolated members in a silent and lethargic choir that bears with resignation an eternal routine.
Opposite the figures, spectator waits curiously trying to discover the enigma that quiet figures hide. Enormous toys with an upright position waiting to be balanced.
The composition was realized for the " Galicia Terra Única " exhibition where the artist works in a similar way to the American sculptor George Segal, denouncing modern man condition represented by daily figures enslaved by powerlessness.
